Genesis 47:23-26 NIV
We see today how God used Joseph in mighty ways. Not only to save nations through famine but to also establish a tax system in Egypt, at that time it was a 20% tax on grains. This tax system has been adopted across the world and still in use till today.
We can now see the impact Joseph has on the world, but Joseph may not have realised that the steps he was taking would lead to global impact - just as the bible verse says βFor as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.β

We are called to a life of impact and for this to happen, our obedience to Gods leading is paramount. Our obedience is bigger than us! Let us trust and obey Godβs leading as He takes us on the adventure of our lives. We have an example in Josephβs life.
