When David left Saul, he left everything behind. He didn’t even have food or a weapon for protection. But we see that God had already made provision for the journey.

We start to look at David’s encounter with Ahimelech, the priest; everything David asked for was given to him. The two key urgent needs were solved. David was so hungry, and Ahimelech gave him and his men bread. Secondly, David needed a weapon, and right there was the same weapon that David used to kill Goliath—kept for him. It couldn’t have been a coincidence.

So we see that before David set out, God had specifically planned for his needs and led him where He had made provision.

When similar situations happen when we venture into the unknown, we wonder how we will survive. How will our needs be met? But if God sends us on a journey, know that God has already gone ahead of us and made provision for the journey. We just need to follow His leading.

But interestingly, we will not know or see the provision God has made if we do not step out; the provision is meant to be discovered on the journey.

𝙅𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙨 is a short clip intended to grow and equip us in our trust walk with God. The current focus is on life’s seasons. Life is in seasons - so it is important that we lean in and learn from the Holy Spirit. I am grateful that every episode is inspired by the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to learn with me.
