1 Samuel 16:1-3 NIV
Today is a reminder that God can lead us through tough, tricky, complex, difficult, or seemingly impossible situations.
When God asked Samuel to go to anoint a son of Jesse in Bethlehem as king of Israel, He feared for his life, knowing how erratic Saul could be, especially now that he knew that God had rejected him as king.
But knowing this, God gave Samuel the strategy he needed to perform the task without drawing any form of attention to himself, thereby preventing Saul from knowing what was happening.
God can lead us through difficult situations. God has seen what would happen; and he has different ways and strategies to lead us out of those situations.
The solutions God gives may be totally different from what we have in mind, but following God’s leading, would lead us through and out of those situations.
