Bible scripture: Genesis 37:12-36 (NIV)

This week, we continue the Lessons from Joseph series which is we started in March but took a break for the Easter series. If you would like to listen to the previous episodes, they were aired on the 27th to 31st of March 2023.
To our discussion today - my question is, have you ever been sold??
When I mean sold, I don’t mean sold in a great way – i.e you are amazing… I mean sold in terms of being betrayed for a gain of some sort. If this has happened to you - it must have really really hurt. Joseph in this bible scripture was sold by his brothers who he loved and trusted. They sold him out of FEAR! of his dreams, Fear of who he will become - but hey He still became!
Joseph was thrown in the pit, where he probably thought God had forsaken him. - like why would I be in this pit if God is for me? But God was with Him all through and even used what his brothers meant for evil - to transfer him to his next place of assignment - Potiphar’s house. God the master planner.
Are you in a “pit” or an impossible situation? Imagine how Joseph felt while he was in the pit? Trust God. Remember Joseph - with all that was done to him, he might have thought that his dreams were being destroyed, but God was aligning everything so perfectly. So why not trust in Him and let Him work things out for you.
