1 Samuel 20:5, 24-27 AMP
We should constantly have a heart of gratitude.
Looking at David, he was going through a tough time with Saul. But the scripture highlights how he led the Israelite army to war, was successful, killed Goliath, and dined with royalty and the king of Israel. David was somewhere he probably wouldn’t have dreamed of a few years before he was anointed. This is enough to be grateful to God despite the challenges he was facing.
In many cases, we can be so focused on the challenges in front of us that we forget that where we are was once a prayer point! And we are living in an answered prayer. We forget how far God has brought us!
Let us constantly have a heart of gratitude to God for everything, no matter the challenges we are facing. Thank Him for all He has done.
Gratitude is powerful. Dance before your Father, just like David did 🕺 💃
