Today we continue the story of the cross and discuss the death -
“And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.”
Matthew 27:50 NIV
Jesus willingly gave up His life so the scriptures may be fulfilled and we have eternal life. I know it’s a very touching part of the scripture to read what Jesus went through - but Sunday is coming!!
I must say, I have been so blessed telling this amazing story of Jesus, the journey to the cross and the cross - it’s like deeper revelation of His profound love for me.
This is why I am soooo passionate about Jesus. This is why I am soooo convinced of His immerse love for me. This is why the cross is enough for me. I just need to imagine my Jesus on the cross. Honestly it is enough! This is why we have eternal life. This story always blows my mind. Every time I read it. Like what manner of love is this.
If you are ever doubting Gods love for you, I hope I have been able to convince you that indeed Jesus loves you. He loves you too much
. No love can even compare to His immerse love for you.
If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal saviour and you will want to give your life to Christ. Or perhaps you have previously but had a change of heart. It is with such great honour and joy to lead you to Christ. Please say with me:
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and personal Saviour.
As you have prayed this prayer - I pray the Holy Spirit comes comes into your heart and you experience Him in a mighty way in Jesus Name. Amen. Watch out!
