Genesis 43:1–10
Jacob had experienced the loss of Joseph, and it hurt him deeply. This experience made him hold onto Benjamin so tightly; he didn’t want Benjamin to go to Egypt with the other brothers. His fists were tight… Little did he know that releasing Benjamin would have led him to Joseph and the plans God had for him and his household.
For some of us, God is asking us to release our hands and let go of what we are holding that is so precious to us so He can place in our hands the magnificent blessings and assignments He has prepared for us.
But it can be hard because we haven’t seen this wonderful gift God is preparing us for. The key to the unveiling is totally trusting and submitting to His Will. Because, to be able to carry out the great plans God has for us, we need to have learned submission to Him so He can lead us on how to navigate this wonderful blessing He is putting in our hands.
Let go!
