Today we look at the life of Joseph.
God is very deliberate - He places us situations quite similar to where He is taking us, to prepare us for what is ahead.
Let us use Joseph as an example, at 17, Joseph experienced a similar to what he experienced in Potiphar's house. At 17, his father ( the head of the house) loved him more than all his brothers, and his brothers were very jealousy of him- In Potiphar's house - Potiphar ( the head of the house) loved him and put him in charge of everything, except Potiphar's wife, but Potiphar's wife was jealous and hated him ( as he refused to sleep with her). Very similar situations.
There is so much to learn from this story in the bible.
Bible verse: Genesis 37:1-4
1Jacob lived in the land where his father had stayed, the land of Canaan.
2 This is the account of Jacob’s family line.
Joseph, a young man of seventeen, was tending the flocks with his brothers, the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives, and he brought their father a bad report about them.
3 Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age; and he made an ornate[a] robe for him. 4 When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him.
