We take a little walk back to the point in time when Joseph had both dreams about himself and his brothers, and how his brothers hated him the more because of the kind of dream he had and because of the way he announced the dream to them.
Genesis 37:5-11 NIV
Joseph’s brothers were clouded with hatred that they failed to realise the full context of the dream. They failed to realise that Joseph’s dream was only for a point in time, and not that Joseph was going to claim rulership over them in the future. Because both dreams showed the equality of all brothers, which were the 12 tribes of Israel.
Sometimes we are covered with Jelousy and hate that we no longer see the full picture, and begin to miss the path that has been laid out for us. We need the Holy Spirit to help us love as Christ has loved us.
