Wait a minute. Can you imagine how prompt Abigail was? She dropped everything she was doing and headed in David’s direction.
She could have just said, Okay, let’s think about it, or sent some servants to give David some food, or complained about this being her husband's fault and decided to stay put. If she had done any of these scenarios, her family would have paid for it with their lives! Her prompt and swift action saved her family. She not only understood the urgency but 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒚.
It is very important for us to respond swiftly and speedily when the Holy Spirit is nudging us to. Let's not postpone that action when God gives us that prompting, because if we do, we can easily miss out. If he is nudging you now, please respond.
Prayer: Father, help us to yield to your instructions as we receive them and act in a timely manner in Jesus name. Amen. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
