1 Samuel 26:7-12,
In this story David is faced with a situation where he has the opportunity to kill King Saul, who is pursuing him. However, David chooses not to harm Saul, saying "The Lord forbid that I should lay a hand on the Lord's anointed." This story illustrates the belief that all tests and trials are from God and it is up to us to trust in Him and make the right choices. Just as David was tested with the temptation to take revenge, we too will face difficult situations in life that test our faith and character. It is important to remember that these tests and trials are ultimately from God and are meant to strengthen and refine us.
