When Doeg the Edomite annihilated Nob, Abiathar, the son of Ahitub, was the only one who escaped and fled to David and told him about the event. David told him he is safe with him.

“Stay with me; do not be afraid, for he who seeks my life seeks your life, but you are safe with me.””

1 Samuel 22:23 AMP

Remember that Saul was after David's life, which is why he killed the priests of Nob. In a normal situation, Ahitub should have run away from David and not towards David for safety. But God was with David, and that’s what made the situation different. So the place that would have been the most dangerous to stay was then the safest, all because of God’s presence. God’s presence makes the difference.

We do not walk alone. In all our endeavours, we are never alone; even through the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord is with us.

“Yeah, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff comfort me.”

Psalm 23:4 KJV

God is evidently with us, and if God is for us, who can be against us?

𝙅𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙨 is a short clip intended to grow and equip us in our trust walk with God. The current focus is on life’s seasons. Life is in seasons - so it is important that we lean in and learn from the Holy Spirit. I am grateful that every episode is inspired by the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to learn with me.
