1 Samuel 19:9–10 NIV
“What have I done?” This is a hard question and it comes from a very deep place!
“Then David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and went and said to Jonathan, “What have I done? What is my iniquity, and what is my sin before your father, that he seeks my life?””
I Samuel 20:1 NKJV
When we go through tough situations, we tend to ask the same question. Why is the devil on my case? We tend to think - maybe I have done something to deserve this? In many cases we may even extent this to be a punishment from God?
But we understand that - the fact that we are light is enough for the devil to come after us. David didn’t do anything to Saul - he shined his light which made him a target. We are building Gods kingdom so automatically we are targets.
But more importantly we need to understand that God is love - God does not “punish” but in the midst of even the core of pain, that same pain is used by God as a tool to mould us for our own good in line with His plans for us. We may not see how or why and it may not make sense to us ( honestly it doesn’t 😂 if not it wouldn’t be as painful). But as long as we are following His leadings we are exactly where we need to be. Remember the word “ growth pains?”
At the end of the day we know that victory is ours and we will overcome stronger and better!
𝙅𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙨 is a short clip intended to grow and equip us in our trust walk with God. The current focus is on life’s seasons. Life is in seasons - so it is important that we lean in and learn from the Holy Spirit. I am grateful that every episode is inspired by the Holy Spirit. I encourage you to learn with me.
