Contentment and peace are elusive in this life unless you are connected, as John says, to the Vine...Jesus. Paul talks about how he is content in his weakness, in fact he will only boast of his weakness if he must boast at all. Why? Because in his weakness God's strength is what shines through! He says in 1 Corinthians, God's strength is "made known".
I want God's strength to be made known through me, don't you! Well that means I have to be content in where He has me and the only way I can do that is to lean on his understanding and not my own.
So today that is what we are talking about! My weakness, His strength...me leaning on His understanding so I can be content and at peace through Him.
