Christa Pike is the only woman currently on death row in Tennessee and holds the distinction of being the youngest woman ever sentenced to death in the United States when she was convicted of the 1995 murder of Colleen Slemmer,
If executed, Pike would be the first woman put to death in Tennessee in over 200 years and the first person executed in the state who was 18 at the time of the offense since the death penalty was reinstated.
