For our 2023 Christmas sermon series, I perused the relevant nativity passages in both the Gospel of Matthew and Luke. While reading these wonderful passages, four titles used of/for Jesus seemed intruiging. During these four weeks prior to the celebration of Jesus' incarnation/birthday on December 25, we will be looking at each of these four (Immanuel, King of the Jews, Savior, Prince of Peace)
This week after describing some of the background events of Matthew 2 we made 3 points about the title of Jesus as "King of the Jews!" We saw that this title of/for Jesus was a universal title, a prophetic title, and was an applicable title.
