We have been looking at the life of King David. Our text for July 16, 2023 was 2 Samuel 11:1-27. After demonstrating the LORD God's faithfulness to His people and to David in the previous chapters and demonstrating David's faithfulness, this section highlights David's decent into adultery, theft, and murder. The Scripture here wants us to see the destructive nature of sin as well as see the beauty of Jesus as the spotless/sinless One!
