Ephesians is a book that highlights one of the most important distinctions in all of the Bible and breaks neatly into 2 distinct portions. In the first portion, chapters 1-3 discuss the first key distinction. This division has been described as the "indicative/imperative" or the "belief/behavior" distinction. Our text for this week was found within the imperative/behavior portion of the entire book. The text was Ephesians 4:7-10. One of the issues addressed in this text (Christ's descent into Hades) is most unusual to talk about.
