This morning (once again) we took a break from our walk through the book of Ephesians. This morning in conjunction with the honoring of our graduates at Rosefield Baptist Church we focused on Proverbs 4:1-9. We looked at several points that were made by the Anglican Bishop J.C. Ryle in his work "Thoughts for Young Men." He noticed 5 particular dangers for young men (pride, love of pleasure, thoughtlessness, contempt of Christianity, and fear of man's opinion). From Proverbs 4:1-9, we noted 3 things from the text: Embrace godly discipline, endure the fallenness of people, envelop wisdom.
