Ephesians is a book that highlights one of the most important distinctions in all of the Bible and breaks neatly into 2 distinct portions. In the first portion, chapters 1-3 discuss the first key section. This division has been described as the "indicative/imperative" or the "belief/behavior" distinction. This means that for Christians--the first part of Ephesians tells us who we are in Christ and the second part tells how we must respond to our new life in Christ! This morning, we looked at the section from 6:14-17.
We made one point from this text dealing with the reality of spiritual warfare. The two points were: The people of God stand like Jesus in spiritual combat.
