Episode 10 of the Emotional Intelli-Gents Podcast centers on a favorite topic of our co-hosts Ismail & Sameer: Courage.  When listing out what traditionally makes a great leader many people think of someone who is a strong problem solver, communicator, trustworthy, empathetic, and displays candor.  However, often missing from the list is the catalyst behind everything, courage.  

In this episode, Ismail and Sameer dive into this vast topic of courage.  The episode has three primary focus areas. 

1.  What does it mean to lead courageously? Sameer and Ismail share, from their personal experiences, the role courage has played at different stages along their leadership journey. 
2. Why is it so important to have courage as a leader?  We will explain that courage is the nucleus, the starting point, where all other leadership qualities stem.  The episode talks about how courage is required to maximize the impact of your emotional intelligence. 
3. What are some tips people can use to unleash courage when they may be struggling to do so? The Gents share from their own experiences how they’ve found ways to be courageous when it felt totally unnatural for them to do so.
