The latest episode of HOTD sees our characters deal with the aftermath of pivotal battle at Rook’s Rest. Alicent braces for the future and Aemond as regent, Rhaenyra appoints a Hand of the Queen as Jace embarks on a solo mission, and Daemon’s visions get even more frustrating and intense at Harrenhal. It’s an episode that differs from the source material, continues the show’s depiction of misogyny and the hastiness of men in wartime, and Tony and Minwa share their thoughts on it all.
