We are all human and we all have wounds. Some are old and have scarred over. Some are emotional or spiritual or mental as well. Wounds are part of being human. 13th Century poet Rumi has a quote - "Wounds are where the light comes in." Wounds are places where we can grow as we heal. Wounds are also the places that light can shine forth from us.
