Married for 27 years, James and Shannon Tew quickly learned the art of tag-team parenting as they balanced two jobs with three sons born early in their marriage. A storyteller by nature, James has worked as a copy editor and online editor in the Chicago area and in Indiana, winning Hoosier State Press Association awards in areas including website, video and column writing. He currently works in marketing and communications at a private college. Shannon has worked in multiple capacities as a registered nurse, serving hospitals in the emergency room, medical surgical and obstetrics, and also as a school nurse and a nurse care manager for an insurance company. The family’s adventures have included many laughs, tears and bodily function jokes, with God working sometimes in spite of the two parents as much as through them. Today, however, all five Tews (plus two daughters-in-law and one daughter-in-law to be) are actively involved in ministry.Listen to this uplifting Faith. Family.
