Jesus cares about our pain and our suffering. He understands it personally. He bears wounds. As we recognize our sin, this allows us to experience Godly sorrow which leads us to repentance. This is a beautiful thing in God’s sight. Jesus promises that as we mourn, we will experience comfort which is an eternal blessing.
