The power of the Christian life comes from the spirit, through the soul, expressed in the body. Surrendering our lives to Jesus doesn’t mean we become perfect overnight and will never struggle with sin. Our best life comes from refusing to conform to the ways of this world, refusing to give in to the temptations of sin and renewing our minds to God’s way of seeing things.
