Description

In today’s message, Pastor Wallace shares with us teachings from the Apostle Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae. Colossians 2:6-7 succinctly summarizes the message of this letter. In these two verses, Paul affirms the truth about Christ and exhorts believers to continue to live in Him. Gratitude is the proper response to and result of God’s grace at work in the believer’s life. The good news is that from the moment we accepted Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the Lord began to develop qualities that produce grateful hearts. In our text today, Paul explains the appropriate response God’s activity ought to engender in the Colossians and us. Therefore, Pastor Wallace shares four points with you: 1) the indication of the Christian life, 2) the imperative of the Christian life, 3) the implication of the Christian life, and 4) how we are to respond. Conclusively, the response of those who walk in Christ will be one of thanksgiving. It’s hard for the enemy to attack us when we are in active praise and gratitude to God.
