Today’s message in our “Turning Points in Life” Series is about ‘Praying for Others.’ One of the most powerful stories of prayer and recovery or restart is found in the book of Job. Nobody had to recover more than Job. Intercessory prayer was the sign of Job’s returning greatness. When Job’s soul began to expand itself in holy and loving prayer for his erring brethren, the heart of God showed itself to him by returning his prosperity and cheering his soul within. Pastor Wallace reminds us of four things: 1) intercessory prayer has been practiced by all the best of God’s saints; 2) intercessory prayer is exceedingly prevalent in the Bible; 3) who we should pray for; and 4) encourage us to pray for others. In concluding this message, Pastor Wallace asks each of us this question: How is it that you hope to get your own prayers answered if you never pray for others?
