Jo runs a social enterprise 'Progressive Education' which is raising awareness of alternatives to conventional schooling. She is passionate about education which gives young people appropriate skills for the 21st Century and puts children’s rights, social justice and wellbeing at the core.
The ProgressiveEducation.org website includes initiatives to improve the learner experience at school, changemaker campaigns, articles and research. In collaboration with Limitless, she also runs a membership for people wanting to set up their own schools and learning communities.
Jo has ambitions for Progressive Education to be an impactful social enterprise to support and excel the movement for change.
In this episode, we explore whether or not she feels creativity has a place in a 21st Century curriculum.
