Description

I open with a poem describing the pain of loss when we first moved to the West Coast and I realized that my dreams of a new life were not exactly realistic. The love letters I share are ones where we confront how we hurt each other and how we can heal those wounds. Later we began to ask each other's forgiveness every night for any hurts we had caused that day, and that continued to help us grow in love and healing. My closing poem is one I started a long time ago and finished recently, reflecting on the magical time of childhood and how my brother and I brought that mystery and creativity into our adult lives.

May words add more love and poetry to your days!
