Description

Today’s episode is inspired by this term I’ve heard recently in the office, and that's “loosey goosey”. I’ve had multiple patients tell me that they were told those words to describe their hips. All were moms whose kids range from 1 year to 19 years old. Though some had mobility issues, everyone had hip stability problems. So we worked on hip control and coordinating that with deep core muscles. Tune into this episode as we talk about ways to stabilize your hips to feel stronger and in more control of your body.

What you will learn:

Range of motion & function of the hip

How to activate muscles surrounding the hip

Movements to help with hip stability

Links to Resources:

Glute activation

Banded glute bridge

Side plank clamshell

Standing clamshell

Bird dog

90/90 internal lift
