Christians have been given the Holy Spirit. However, He does not come empty handed, nor does He reside inactively. The Fruit of the Spirit is His luggage, and He is at work enabling the believer to use that which He brings. The first virtue is love and it is important to explore and exercise this fruit in order to live a life pleasing to God.
