The North Carolina General Assembly passed a bill along partisan lines overhauling abortion requirements. This weekend, Governor Cooper vetoed the bill. It now returns to the legislature for a test of the newly-created veto-proof majority. Will legislators toe party lines as they did with eliminating the need for a permit to purchase a pistol?
