The war in Iran is now into its 7th week, extending beyond the original 4-6 week timeline forecasted by President Trump at the onset. It remains unclear as to what the US is seeking to accomplish in Iran, largely predicated on mixed messaging from the White House. Other messages, however, have been quite clear.
