Forgiveness on a regular basis is a profound spiritual practice that brings freedom and wholeness. However, deep forgiveness can feel a little discombobulating if it’s a big shift that has released an old, deep-seated issue. The great news is that the new energy is good and healthy. But when we are accustomed to carrying around old, toxic energy, it is important to allow ourselves time to settle in to the new energy. We need time to rest and be at peace. Self-care and times of rest and journaling to process can be very important. Right after forgiveness, do not make big decisions, do not pass go. Stay settled and grounded. Check in daily with Spirit using the Intentions journal. And trust that you will be guided into your next move.
