On today’s episode, Amanda Mitchell, owner of everyone’s favorite stores in Charlestown, Place & Gather and Junebug, as well as the President of the Charlestown Business Alliance. Amanda and I talk about her journey into entrepreneurship - how she wasn’t always a small business owner, and how she came to own a florist just a short time after opening Place & Gather. We also discuss how she’s an early riser, loves to chat with her sister on her commute to the stores, prioritizes being home by 5, but has to buffer time into her commute home to make sure she can chat with passersby. Amanda also shares the power of having a strong team around you and how delegation can be a form of self-care.
