Nº70 - The Secret to Kateri's Mind & Body Transformation 

Welcome back to No Sugar! This episode was inspired by a video we came across of Kateri from the year of 2020. In that video, Kateri explained that she was mentally and physically not well - her body image, relationship with food, and lack of self love was all consuming. She worked out to eat, and when she ate, she criticized every bite she took. It was a toxic relationship, because no matter what she did, she did not see results of losing weight. In turns out, that Kateri’s negative relationship with herself is actually what caused the stagnant weight and bloat.

We discuss that it is not just your diet and workouts that need to be in check for you to look and feel good, but it is also your relationship with yourself, how you talk to yourself, how you view food, etc. that affect your body. We discuss the effects of negative self talk, high levels of cortisol, and the steps Kateri took to pull herself out of that time in her life. Now, Kateri is transformed. What did she fix? Her mindset, her words, and her approach towards food being fuel.
