If you've ever heard a personal trainer use a phrase that makes you think 'WTF does that mean?!', it's not just you.

There are a ton of common cues used in the fitness industry that, let's face it, just don't really make sense.

The problem is that not all instructional phrases say what they actually mean. Some are ineffective because they aren't worded very well; others are just plain wrong.

Either way, we are here to help you understand the gym jargon!
