Introduction
Sometimes life can be hard, and you experience hurt or sorrow.
▪ Life on this side of eternity can be difficult and full of pain, discouragement, and loss.
▪ How are we to live in light of all this?
▪ Did something go wrong? Did I do something wrong? Is life out of control? Does God not care?
▪ How does the gospel relate to the hard things of life?
1. Sometimes when we are going through difficulty or pain, it simply helps that someone understands.
Please know, that, no matter if no one here on earth understands, God does (verses).

▪ Why is this so important?
▪ How are we to appropriate this truth for how we live in the midst of the difficulties of life?
