After Stephen's persecution, Christ followers are dispersed from Jerusalem and spread throughout the region. In the depraved city of Antioch, some of those disciples began telling the gospel to Greeks and other Gentiles. A revival breaks out there, and followers of Christ first become known as Christians. Barnabus is sent from the church in Jerusalem to encourage the young church in Antioch. He later remembers Paul and travels to Tarsus to get him.
