Description

Born into a non-Lutheran faith, I grew up practicing 'believer's baptism' where one gets baptized only upon reaching an age of understanding. But, moving to Minnesota and joining the Central Church stirred my curiosity about infant baptism, thrusting me into a journey of understanding that I'm thrilled to share with you.

On a deeper dive into the intriguing world of sacraments, our conversation in this podcast revolves around baptism as one of the two Lutheran sacraments. We explore the profound connection of this sacrament to the command and promise of Jesus, and how it's uniquely tied to an earthly element – water, in this case. We also highlight its roots in ancient ritual baths, common across cultures and religions. As a special treat, I share my personal journey towards appreciating the concept of infant baptism, discussing the myriad implications of this act of grace. Get ready for an enlightening exploration of baptism and its symbolism of cleansing, rebirth, and regeneration – a continuous cycle reflecting God's enduring love and mercy.
