Syria a was against Israel.
The king was trying to ambush Israel but seemed to be outsmarted.
He thought someone on the inside was a spy.
When he was told about Elisha, he went after him.

- How often do you look around to see the Lord at work around you?
- Did Elisha walk around with the sight to see the spiritual realm?
- Did he have faith that being in the will of God produced a guarding army?
- Is this army only present during difficulties?
Romans 8: 31-39 ESV
- How do we ensure God is for us?
Romans 12:1-2 ESV
- We may not always know ahead of time what the will of God is for future events.
- Knowing His will at times comes through testing.
- What we do know is that God is for us when we worship and are transformed according to His word.
Deuteronomy 31:1-8 ESV
- What wasn’t said is that God goes before you in times of trouble or during a fight.
- Let’s listen carefully to what is said. Vs 3 and 8
Conclusion
Let’s go before Him in worship and commit to allow Him to transform us.
