Mother Ezgi's Final Thoughts on "Boundaries":
Whether we are beginners or experienced boundary setters, God gives us boundaries to provide the structures for our life to grow in his realm. However afraid and however resisted we may feel, we can take comfort in knowing the boundary work is a work of healing, and becoming into people God created us to be. And that work is being done by people around us. Boundaries are our participating in the work of reconciliation between God and his creation. And in doing so, we become our truer selves.
We are responsible for our feelings, and to others. We are responsible to stick to our no in love and honesty. No one deserves to violate or manipulate their existence into the portion that is set apart for someone else. When we live within boundaries, we live into the harmony God is intending for us. New Jerusalem is a place where that harmony is truly experienced and permanently existent. New Jerusalem is in heaven. We can do the work of heaven today, and start growing and not wait until we escape this mortal coil. Love and harmony can pierce into our everyday reality. Love and harmony is the work of the Christ's body. Boundaries are works of holy sanctification.
