In this episode we try a few wines from Rioja, Spain to see if they are considered good value European wines in terms of dollar versus quality. We try a 2019 Herederos del Marques de Riscal Rioja Reserva, Spain ($35 from @DanMurphysLiquor ) and a 2006 San Vicente, Rioja, Spain. We also share our thoughts on the Coravin wine preservation system, provide an overview of ‘sonic aging’ and how music may be able to accelerate the wine aging process. Also, Jason reviews a wine that he tasted recently which was the 2022 Pinot Grigio, Word of Mouth, Orange, NSW.
