In 2020, Daniel Halseth and his ex-wife Elizabeth found themselves living in Las Vegas at the same time once again. This was a pleasant coincidence because Elizabeth for the last eight years Elizabeth had sole custody of their three children and had been living in Alaska, so Daniel was looking forward to finally getting to spend more time with his children. However, after returning from a business trip, Daniel stopped responding to his mother's texts. His mother instinctively knew something wasn't right and the following day, when there was still no word from Daniel, his mother asked a good friend to do a welfare check and what they found was seriously disturbing.
