In 2014, on Christmas Eve, Sameena finally thought that her dreams were coming true. She had previously been having a secret love affair with one of her co-workers, Roger Cooper, and she had finally worked up the nerve to serve him an ultimatum. Either he chose her, or she chose to walk away from their complicated relationship. Either way, she was ready for their dynamic to change.
