There was a time when I wouldn’t have dared to show my face without make up. I had a deep roote fear of being… well, imperfect. I worried constantly.
Was I good enough or pretty enough? Was my skin clear enough or bright enough?
Were my teeth white or straight enough? Was my hair tidy enough?
After years of worry and deep work… I discovered my fear of perfection was holding me back…
Now, Consider the main character of your favorite television show… No matter how “wonderful” they are at their role… One of the things the show never fails to hide is their flaws. Odds are they are quirky, clumsy, or socially awkward, maybe they struggle with accountability, or taking direction? Either way… this lack of perfection makes them human and relatable!
