Abraham Lincoln once said, "Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the ax.” This current series, "Becoming Stronger Every Day" is the pre-game show for our deeper dive into my new book, "Stronger Every Day: 9 Tools for an Emotionally Healthy You." As with any "finished work," there are always things you wish you had said or done. Since the final edit of my book, I've learned a few more things that will help us grow stronger every day of our emotional health journey. Today, we talk about how vital the contemplative spiritual practices of stillness, silence, and solitude are in our lives.
