Joanna and Sue chat with new friend Shannon Beard about her experiences with Alzheimer's Disease. Shannon and her caregiving team were supporting her mom in the family home for years, but recently had to make the change into memory care.
We chat about her mother/ daughter relationship before and after dementia, her parent's lifelong relationship, ( since 4th grade!!! ). being a part of " the sandwich generation", and the amazing ways Shannon takes a little time to care for herself.
