Have you ever gained weight without really realizing it was happening? One day, you look up and realize that somewhere along the way, your habits have changed, your consistency has slipped, and the things you used to do without thinking have slowly fallen off your radar.
That's exactly what happened to me…
In this episode, I'm getting vulnerable about something that's a little uncomfortable to admit: I gained weight without realizing it, and I found myself doing the very thing I help my clients learn how to avoid.
I'm sharing the habits I started slipping on, the four big excuses I began making for myself, and how those seemingly small decisions added up over time. But I'm not stopping at what went wrong. I'm also walking you through the specific habits I got back to, how I returned to the routines that support my health, and what I'm doing differently to maintain them moving forward.
Because here's the thing: knowing what to do doesn't mean you'll always do it. Life gets busy, priorities shift, and it's surprisingly easy to convince yourself that the little things don't matter that much.
But those little things do matter. And you don't have to wait until things feel out of control to do something about them.
I'm sharing this story because I want you to know that you don't have to be perfect to make progress, and a setback doesn't erase everything you've learned. The goal isn't to never get off track. It's to recognize when you have, stop making excuses, and get back to the habits that help you feel your best.
If you've been telling yourself that you'll get back to your healthy habits eventually, this episode is your reminder that you can start making different choices today.
